About HADAAF:
HADAAF, a National NGO established in April 2006 and registered with MoE under No. 514, is dedicated to health, WASH, nutrition, livelihood, and child protection. With a focus on the health/nutrition sector since 2007, HADAAF has a rich history of successful implementation of various health projects across different provinces in collaboration with reputable partners such as IMC, Cordaid, UNICEF, WHO, FHI 360, and more.
Position: Project Manager (Health Sector)
Location: Balkh Province
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage projects at the central level, providing technical guidance and leadership.
- Conduct frequent monitoring and supportive supervision visits to project sites.
- Analyze monitoring checklists and prepare feedback for project staff.
- Provide data for health sector management team for proposal writing.
- Develop the scope of services, operating procedures, and monitoring tools.
- Oversee monthly and annual work-plans, setting M&E indicators for project activities.
- Develop uniformed checklists for provinces and projects for monitoring and supervision.
- Work with provinces on the capacity building of provincial teams in Monitoring and Evaluation.
- Develop training materials, tools, and guidelines.
- Develop job descriptions for project staff.
- Maintain and update the database of HMIS and EPI, preparing project technical progress reports.
- Coordinate with MoPH, UN agencies, partner organizations, and stakeholders for effective project implementation.
- Maintain cooperation with other units, authorities, institutions, and NGOs.
- Communicate culture-sensitive issues in a culturally accepted manner to the trainees.
- Submit program updates, inception, monthly, quarterly, and final project reports based on agreed timelines.
- Undertake other tasks/responsibilities as requested by the Program Manager.
Job Requirements:
- University degree, at least Bachelor’s in a health-related field (MD) from recognized institutions.
- 4 years’ experience in a related field.
- Proficient in MS Office Packages.
- Excellent Communication and Report Writing Skills in English and one of the National/Local Languages (Dari or Pashto).
- Strong Communication, Problem Solving, Teamwork, Leadership, and Management Skills.
- Willingness to travel to different districts of Balkh Province.
