Job Description:

As a Senior Data Analyst at Roshan Telecom (TDCA), you will be at the forefront of transforming raw data into strategic insights. Here’s what the role entails:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Visualization (60%)

  • Conduct complex data analysis using statistical techniques, data mining, and visualization tools to reveal trends and patterns.
  • Identify and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track business performance.
  • Translate data findings into actionable recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

2. Strategic Reporting (60%)

  • Oversee the generation of daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports.
  • Provide insights on customer behavior, revenue trends, and product performance.
  • Support business intelligence responsibilities and collaborate with marketing verticals for reporting and performance tracking.
  • Conduct market analysis/reporting to highlight customer behavior and market trends.
  • Track and analyze budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with commercial business KPIs.

3. Product & Promotion Analysis (40%)

  • Utilize data analytics techniques to evaluate product performance, sales trends, and customer preferences.
  • Identify key product metrics and develop analytical models for tracking product success.
  • Conduct market and customer segmentation analysis to optimize product offerings.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns through data analysis.
  • Measure the ROI of promotional activities and provide insights for optimizing marketing spend.
  • Create visually appealing dashboards and reports using data visualization tools.

Job Requirements:

Academic Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, computer science, or related field.

Master’s degree may be preferred.

Experience, Skills, and Competences:

  • Strong SQL skills, proficiency in querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar languages.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis software.
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods, data mining techniques, and predictive modeling.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent project management abilities and the ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
