Job Description:

Position Summary:

Kunduz Rehabilitation Agency is seeking a skilled and experienced Tailoring Trainer to join our organization. As a Tailoring Trainer, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive training programs covering sewing techniques, pattern making, garment construction, and fabric selection. Your passion for teaching and empowering others will contribute to the development of individuals interested in the field of tailoring.

Detailed Responsibilities:

Training Program Development:

  • Design comprehensive training programs covering sewing techniques, pattern making, garment construction, and fabric selection.

Training Delivery:

  • Conduct hands-on and interactive training sessions and workshops on tailoring techniques.

Individualized Instruction:

  • Assess individual learners’ skill levels and provide personalized instruction and support accordingly.

Training Material Preparation:

  • Develop engaging training materials, including handouts, visual aids, and sample garments.

Skill Assessment:

  • Evaluate learners’ progress through practical assessments, projects, and exams. Provide constructive feedback and develop individualized learning plans.

Safety and Best Practices:

  • Educate learners on safety protocols, proper equipment use, and industry best practices in tailoring.

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the field of tailoring. Continuously enhance your own skills and knowledge.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Relevant certification or degree in tailoring, fashion design, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Tailoring Trainer or in a similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching or training individuals in tailoring.
  • Teaching and Communication Skills: Strong instructional and communication skills to effectively convey tailoring concepts and techniques to learners. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
