Job Description:

As the Midwifery Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing various aspects of the midwifery program. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and delegating duties to program staff.
  • Participating in staff selection and recruitment processes.
  • Monitoring staff performance and conducting regular appraisals.
  • Identifying and addressing training needs for staff development.
  • Coordinating with program stakeholders, including the Midwifery Program Manager, to ensure program effectiveness.
  • Organizing and conducting faculty meetings, ensuring communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Enforcing school policies, overseeing student progress, and maintaining personnel files.
  • Conducting supervisory visits to ensure the quality and effectiveness of learning activities.

Job Requirements:

Language Requirements:

Fluent in Dari, Pashto, and working knowledge of English.

Qualifications:

Preferred: Bachelor of Midwifery; Diploma in Midwifery.

Fluent in Dari, Pashto, and English.

Computer literate, with proficiency in MS Office or willingness to undergo on-the-job training.

Ability to collaborate with individuals at various professional levels.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Work Experience:

2-3 years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in computer usage.

Strong communication and management skills.

Decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Skills:

Effective communication and understanding of local communities.

Interpersonal, managerial, and conflict resolution skills.
