About New Way Social and Development Organization (NSDO):

NSDO, established in 2011 and registered with the Ministry of Economy, Government of Afghanistan, is a Kabul-based development, advocacy, and humanitarian organization. Operating in northern and northeastern provinces, NSDO is dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities affected by war, natural calamities, poverty, and injustice. Job Description:


Relationship Management:

  • Foster positive relationships with departments, vendors, and suppliers.


  • Execute purchasing and procurement of goods/services following policies and manager instructions.
  • Purchase approved PRs, delivering goods with proper documentation.

Quotations and Bids:

  • Obtain quotes, ensuring committee presence for major purchases.
  • Prepare bid forms, analyze bids, and raise POs after approval.

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain proper inventory records, including stock records and monthly reports.
  • Keep asset lists and report to the procurement manager.

Record Keeping:

  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and essential data.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure procured products meet high-quality standards.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with team members and procurement manager as needed.


  • Prepare procurement documents (PR, PO, Quote, Bid, Contract, log books, reports) with thorough checks.


  • Regularly monitor stock levels and distribution status.

Office and Car Management:

  • Manage office facilities, rental cars, and related logistics.

Quotation Participation:

  • Participate in obtaining quotations.

Additional Tasks:

  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in local languages and English.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 3 to 4 years of relevant working experience.
  • Knowledge of cultural and religious sensitivities and values.
  • Compliance with organizational rules, regulations, and anti-harassment policy.
  • Morally and disciplinary fit for the job.
  • Good knowledge and skills in computer applications, particularly MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
