Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Security Guard at SSEOA, you will:

  1. Maintain high-security measures at all times.
  2. Conduct proper checking of visitors and maintain a visitor register.
  3. Protect the staff, property, and all belongings of the office.
  4. Stay alert to face challenging situations and utilize defensive techniques when required.
  5. Monitor security cameras during day and night shifts.
  6. Ensure all windows and doors are locked when staff members leave the office.
  7. Prevent unauthorized parking in front of the premises.
  8. Control access to the office, allowing entry only with proper notification.
  9. Maintain and report on the condition of generators, security lights, and water accessibility.
  10. Switch lights on and off according to the schedule.
  11. Cooperate with colleagues on duty and assist in maintaining cleanliness.
  12. Take responsibility for the office garden and premises disinfection.
  13. Follow the schedule provided by the supervisor and report any abnormal situations promptly.
  14. Work four days a week and take turns guarding during the night as per the schedule.
  15. Perform other duties assigned by the direct supervisor.

Job Requirements:

To be eligible for this position, you should have:

  • Graduated from 12th class
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar role in national and international NGOs
  • Ability to speak and write Dari and Pashtu languages; English language skills are an advantage
