Job Description:

Join AZI’s dynamic team as an IT Assistant responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer network systems. Your role involves ensuring the company’s computer network is functional, up-to-date, and efficient. We seek a problem-solving enthusiast with exceptional communication skills and a passion for technology.


  1. Provide technical assistance to staff on hardware and software issues.
  2. Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
  3. Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
  4. Set up accounts and user profiles.
  5. Perform system administration and maintenance.
  6. Respond to and diagnose technical hardware and software issues.
  7. Research and recommend new technologies.
  8. Create and maintain documentation of technical processes.
  9. Follow up with users to ensure resolution of technical issues.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors, tailored to the organization’s needs.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of system changes.
  • Prepare Change Request Forms and ensure proper closure of reports.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with AZI Management and other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to IT support.

Equipment Management:

  • Ensure availability and functionality of IT equipment and network.
  • Troubleshoot and replace failed components as required.

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Dari/Pashto.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage IT-related issues with effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in IT troubleshooting, computer/server configurations, and networking.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Planning and scheduling skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Fluent in Pashto and/or Dari with strong spoken and written English skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Functional expert – has knowledge of processes and products.
  • Influencer – relates to people, builds relationships, and effectively presents arguments.
  • Results seeker – meets deadlines, identifies actions, and achieves goals.
  • Innovator – thinks creatively, anticipates changes, and produces solutions.
