Job Description:
Join AZI’s dynamic team as an IT Assistant responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer network systems. Your role involves ensuring the company’s computer network is functional, up-to-date, and efficient. We seek a problem-solving enthusiast with exceptional communication skills and a passion for technology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to staff on hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Set up accounts and user profiles.
- Perform system administration and maintenance.
- Respond to and diagnose technical hardware and software issues.
- Research and recommend new technologies.
- Create and maintain documentation of technical processes.
- Follow up with users to ensure resolution of technical issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors, tailored to the organization’s needs.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of system changes.
- Prepare Change Request Forms and ensure proper closure of reports.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with AZI Management and other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to IT support.
Equipment Management:
- Ensure availability and functionality of IT equipment and network.
- Troubleshoot and replace failed components as required.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- University degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Dari/Pashto.
- Demonstrated ability to manage IT-related issues with effective solutions.
- Proficiency in IT troubleshooting, computer/server configurations, and networking.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Planning and scheduling skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Fluent in Pashto and/or Dari with strong spoken and written English skills.
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
