Job Description: FSL Project Coordinator
Role Purpose:
Save the Children, founded in 1919, is the leading independent organization for children globally. The FSL Project Coordinator will spearhead the implementation of Save the Children’s CBED II grant in Sar-e Pol province. This role involves managing a team, ensuring project alignment with the logical framework, and coordinating operations with government stakeholders, civil society organizations, and DRR implementers.
Scope of Role:
Reports to: FSL Program Manager/ DHoO
Staff reporting: FSL Officers, Agriculture & Livelihood Officers, Veterinary Officers
Budget Responsibilities: Oversight of the provincial budget
Role Dimensions: Collaboration with various departments and key stakeholders
Key Areas of Accountability:
- Lead the implementation of CBED II project in Sar-e Pol province
- Oversee project budget at the provincial level
- Coordinate with government and ensure stakeholder participation
- Provide technical support for surveys and assessments
- Build staff capacities in livelihood and protection programming
- Establish working relationships with stakeholders
- Attend Save the Children Provincial Senior Staff meetings
- Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning:
- Implement MEAL systems and quality benchmarks
- Generate and implement action plans from monitoring and accountability systems
- Contribute to lessons learned workshops and reports

Job Requirements:
Experience and Skills:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in food security & livelihood programming
Confidence in dealing with government institutions and communities
Excellent communication skills in English and local languages
Proficiency in computer usage, especially with professional office software
