As a Data Management Officer in Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in maintaining patient records and contributing to overall data management at health facilities. Your responsibilities include:
- Enter all patient records into the PHC toolkit.
- Register new clients and update existing client demographics.
- Manage overall data management and record-keeping at the health facility.
- Collaborate closely with medical doctors, HIS officers, and other health providers.
- Support HIS officer in preparing various reports.
- Daily data entry in the online system (Commcare) and submission to HIS officer.
- Correct and address given comments through the online system.
- Share good action photos and consent forms with HIS Officer on a weekly basis.
- Support the team in patient flow, reducing bottlenecks, and assisting in screening and triage.
- Respond to patient inquiries.
- Protect client confidentiality by ensuring health information is secured.
- Perform any other job-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Graduated from the 14th class of IT, Computer Science, or Medical-related institutes.
- Two years of relevant working experience.
- Proficiency in using smartphones and tablets.
- Ability to enter daily data through the Commcare application.
- Demonstrated experience and high attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills: ability to work independently and productively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with healthcare administration.
Experience with data entry and data collection.
