Job Description:

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update training materials for the project team and partners involved in social mobilization activities.
  • Conduct Training of Trainers (ToT) for provincial Capacity Building Officers and partners’ staff.
  • Conduct ToT for project partners’ team members serving as social mobilization trainers at provincial and district levels.
  • Assist IR2 Lead in designing and implementing Community-Based Education (CBE) programming.
  • Review reports, provide feedback to Education Coordinator and Capacity Building Officers.
  • Liaise with PED and partner organizations to ensure proper implementation of social mobilization tasks.
  • Collaborate with the MEAL team and other advisors on monitoring community engagement and social mobilization activities.
  • Ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and timely reporting to meet program requirements.
  • Maintain effective relations with PEDs, DEDs, and stakeholders in program activities.
  • Participate in Technical Working Group and relevant networks within the PMU.
  • Contribute CBE programmatic updates to periodic project reports.
  • Mobilize and motivate target communities for community-level interventions and participation in education-related endeavors.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

University degree in education, social science, or relevant technical field.

Minimum 6 years of experience in education, with at least 4 years in community engagement.

Desirable:

Experience working with partners.

Proactive, flexible, and dedicated to working for the interests of children.

Optimistic and a good listener.

Experience and Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience in partnership.
  • Humanitarian experience is an asset.
  • Proficient in conducting training and capacity-building sessions.
  • Strong organizational, planning, budgeting, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Word, Excel, and relevant programs.
  • Excellent English communication skills; proficiency in local languages (Dari, Pashto, etc.) preferred.
