Position: BSS Network Engineer

Job Description:

• As a BSS Network Engineer at Etisalat Afghanistan, your responsibilities include:
• Performing daily network checklists to ensure optimal functioning.
• Maintaining network availability to meet set targets.
• Troubleshooting 2nd and 3rd level BSS network alarms.
• Managing BSS spare parts including GRN, issuance, and database updates.
• Integrating new BSS NE (GSM, UMTS, LTE) for seamless operation.
• Preparing commissioning data for new sites.
• Conducting end-to-end troubleshooting of service outages in collaboration with other departments.
• Following up on trouble tickets with vendors.
• Updating BSS-related databases daily.
• Monitoring BSC/RNC Critical/Major alarms on a daily basis.
• Conducting BSS Network Interface Expansion.
• Working on site resource expansion projects.
• Performing weekly monitoring of BSS Major interfaces.
• Managing TDM to IP Migration of Sites.
• Assisting teams in the modernization of EOL equipment.
• Following up on purchase orders (PO) and purchase requisitions (PR) and updating related databases.

Job Requirements:

High School graduate with at least one year of relevant experience.
