Job Description:

  • The Enumerator will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
  • Conduct assessments of target districts in selected provinces according to the sample size stipulated in Kobo/Comcare forms.
  • Collect quantitative and/or qualitative data provided by the MERL Department.
  • Follow procedures and protocols in collecting and recording data.
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of data.
  • Conduct follow-up interviews as necessary to obtain missing or incomplete data.
  • Utilize electronic devices to record data.
  • Follow and implement guidance/instruction provided by the Quality Assurance Supervisor and Senior Data Officer.
  • Report any issues or concerns to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, as required.
  • Travel to the field/villages as assigned and conduct interviews.
  • Perform any other necessary tasks assigned by the Senior Data Officer.
  • Attend Kobo/Comcare training and learn how to use Tablets/Smartphones for data collection.

Job Requirements:

  • Two years of experience in MEAL & data collection, specifically FGD, KII, and HH surveys.
  • Ability to frequently travel to the program’s target communities.
  • Good written communication skills in English, excellent Pashto or Dari language skills.
  • Experience in conducting surveys.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • University Graduate.
  • Experience with Smartphone/Kobo or Comcare/tablet data collection.
