Job Description:
- The Quality Assurance Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Attending and delivering enumerator training sessions to ensure complete understanding of responsibilities and survey concepts.
- Understanding questionnaire administration thoroughly.
- Assigning enumeration areas to enumerators and executing systematic random sampling of households.
- Preparing daily itineraries for enumerators, including schedules and paths during data collection.
- Distributing all survey documents and materials to enumerators.
- Leading enumerators and comprehending all aspects of field operations.
- Conducting random systematic sampling for sample households.
- Coordinating with provincial staff and introducing enumerators to local community leaders.
- Maintaining constant contact with enumerators and resolving issues encountered.
- Conducting spot checks and final reviews of questionnaires.
- Reporting enumerator issues to the AQBE office in Kabul.
- Coordinating replacement of enumerators if needed.
- Checking and collecting all survey documents and materials after data collection.
- Ensuring completeness and accuracy of questionnaires after data collection.
- Attending and participating in appropriate meetings.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or statistics is required.
- Minimum of ten years of experience in the humanitarian or international development sectors.
- Experience training enumerators for data collection in Afghanistan.
- Experience overseeing and managing data collections in Afghanistan.
- Experience with leading household survey data collection is preferred.
- Proficiency in English, Pashtu, and Dari is required.
