Job Overview:

Join IRC as a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Officer and play a key role in ensuring the complete, accurate, and timely collection and reporting of data and information. Key Responsibilities:

  • Orient and train data collectors on their responsibilities for data collection and reporting.
  • Collect and enter reported data, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain updated databases and assist in preparing reports.
  • Conduct regular monitoring visits to program sites in Nangarhar and Laghman, producing field visit reports.
  • Visit project activities to ensure they align with project plans and design.
  • Conduct focus group discussions to obtain qualitative information, particularly among women.
  • Provide feedback to project stakeholders from weekly and monthly reports for program improvement.
  • Track progress towards project objectives and assist in preparing graphic presentations for reports.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, economics, or relevant field.
  • 1 to 2 years or more experience in MEAL with national and international organizations.
  • Ability to prepare tabular and graphic presentations.
  • Data collection experience with Kobo, CammCare through tablets/smartphones.
  • Ability to travel frequently to districts’ communities where IRC has interventions.
  • Good written and communication skills in English, excellent Pashto and Dari language skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
