Job Description:
Embark on an exciting career as an ISP Specialist with Etisalat Afghanistan’s ISP team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and optimizing internet connectivity for ISP clients, collaborating with internal teams, external distributors, direct clients, and vendors. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks to ensure the seamless operation of our network.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain customers’ aging reports and dashboards for reliable internet connectivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement EA policies and streamline operations.
- Monitor and enhance the effectiveness of the FTTH project for product growth.
- Maintain active records of dashboards and coordinate with account managers on receivables.
- Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and pricing terms with ISP distributors and vendors.
- Monitor vendor performance, manage relationships, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and vendors for continuous improvement and cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with ISP documentation requirements according to EA standards.
- Arrange project kick-off meetings with stakeholders and respond to customer requests for technical designs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in ISP operations and customer support workflows.
- Analyze customer usage patterns to enhance services and identify opportunities for upselling/BW upgrades.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams for accurate documentation of policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate and evaluate ISP price concepts biannually with budgeting and other stakeholders.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an ISP Specialist or in a similar role within the ISP industry.
- Strong knowledge of networking principles.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
