Job Description: Security Patrol Officer

Key Areas of Accountability:

• Patrol compound perimeters, maintaining security vigilance during shifts, and conduct regular rounds in line with security directives.
• Report problems, including suspicious activities, behaviors, and maintenance concerns, responding to emergencies as per SC guidelines.
• Control compound entrances, allowing access only to authorized SC staff and guests.
• Maintain regular contact with the line supervisor via radio or telephone, following SC policies and procedures.
• Ensure understanding of roles, responsibilities, lateral relationships, and accountabilities.
• Maintain security logs, documenting staff and guest comings and goings.
• Document all equipment or assets entering or leaving the compound, including repairs or maintenance.
• Perform other duties as needed or requested.

Qualifications:

Basic read-write literacy.

Experience and Skills:

Essential: One year of experience in a relevant field with National or International NGOs.

Desirable: Additional skills in relevant areas.
