Job Description:

As the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation of our programs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a monitoring action plan for project activities.
  • Conducting field visits and monitoring food distributions in line with the MEAL plan.
  • Requesting daily activity monitoring reports from provincial MEAL Officers.
  • Monitoring and evaluating CDC and DDA dialogue sessions.
  • Assessing inputs, indicators, outputs, and outcomes during ongoing activities or trainings.
  • Preparing and providing output reports for each ground activity to the Program Manager.
  • Coordinating monitoring activities with the Project Manager.
  • Collecting, entering, and uploading GMIS reports.
  • Reporting gaps or findings immediately to the line manager or management team for action.
  • Analyzing data for situation analysis, program/project planning, management, and evaluation.
  • Evaluating financial and supply reports to ensure appropriateness of documentation and expenditures.
  • Selecting and compiling training materials for program implementation stakeholders.
  • Participating in technical cooperation meetings, preparing notes, and undertaking follow-up actions.
  • Performing other related activities assigned by top management.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (BBA, MBA, Monitoring, Development, or Social Studies).
  • 5-7 years of field experience in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation strategies.
  • Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods and analysis.
  • Previous experience in large-scale complex agriculture, emergency, and humanitarian programs.
  • Extensive knowledge of research and monitoring and evaluation methodology and analysis.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in building M&E team capacity.
