Job Overview:
Join IRC as an Emergency Response Support Officer, supporting the Deputy Emergency Response Coordinator in budget management, document processes, and program reporting. If you have a passion for humanitarian work, excellent communication skills, and relevant experience, we invite you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Emergency Response Deputy in budget management and follow-up.
- Manage documents/cash distribution documents processes.
- Prepare monthly staff salary payroll and share it with the finance department.
- Update the emergency distribution tracker.
- Ensure protection of beneficiary information and train staff on data security and confidentiality.
- Update weekly program data and indicator tracking table in collaboration with field teams.
- Transfer hard copies of distribution documents into the online filing system.
- Update program spending plan and staff salary payroll monthly, sharing it with the finance department.
- Submit program data and indicator tracking updates for Donor and external reports.
- Compile, edit, and write quantitative program reports using assigned templates.
- Ensure timely submission of program reports to the grant department.
- Assist in preparing and organizing training, workshops, and events.
- Monitor project work plans, procurement tracking, and monthly spending.
- Collaborate with the Deputy ER Coordinator for smooth activity implementation.
- Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- University degree holder.
- 2-3 years of work experience in Emergency Response, especially in Assessment and Distribution.
- Excellent communication skills in Pashto, Dari & English.
- Good computer skills and proficiency in data collection tools.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Self-motivated with persuasion skills and ability to maintain relationships.
- Fluency in Pashto, Dari, and English.
- Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access, and internet) are an advantage.
- Ability to work constructively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
