Overview of Consultancy Work:
CAI is seeking an experienced expert in monitoring and evaluation to join us on a retainer basis. This role involves conducting third-party monitoring and verification of CAI-funded programs in Afghanistan during fiscal year 2024. The consultant will play a pivotal role in verifying program activities, assessing outcomes, and ensuring alignment with stated goals and approved budgets. Additionally, the consultant will evaluate program efficacy, providing professional insights and recommending any necessary changes or improvements. This consultancy spans 60-90 days annually, commencing in April 2024. Further details will be shared with shortlisted candidates through a comprehensive Scope of Work (SoW) statement.
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of experience in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation processes for education programs in Afghanistan.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and clear presentation of findings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dari/Pashtu.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively, fostering professional relationships and maintaining a team-oriented environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
